Connect
- In Friday, open Settings, then Connectors, then GitHub.
- Choose Connect GitHub and approve in GitHub. You can add more than one account.
Friday asks GitHub for repository, organization read and gist access. Changing GitHub Actions workflows needs one more step: Allow workflow changes in the same settings page.
What you can ask
- "Summarize what changed in this pull request and what still needs review."
- "File an issue for the bug we found in today's thread."
- "Which of my open pull requests are waiting on me?"
Friday asks for your okay before it creates or changes anything in GitHub, unless you tell it to go ahead or have pre-approved that kind of change. Friday does not use your code to train AI models.
Disconnect
In Friday, open Settings, then Connectors, then GitHub, open the account's menu and choose Disconnect. Friday revokes its token at GitHub and deletes it. You can also review Friday under GitHub's Settings, then Applications, then Authorized OAuth Apps.
Chats and results already in Friday stay in your workspace until you delete them or an admin erases them. Nothing in GitHub is changed.
